BioI
am a New York State licensed massage therapist, with additional certifications in perinatal
and geriatric massage. I've spent the last four years thriving in a private practice in Park Slope, Brooklyn, while also providing
medical massage at a chiropractor's office in Manhattan. After a recent move to the East Bay, I love exploring the beautiful West Coast, and focusing on my practice right here in the quiet Oakland hills.
My technique has been described as an eclectic blend of classic Swedish
and medical massage with a gentle Shiatsu influence, providing
a restorative, deeply relaxing experience. I do very
deep tissue work when appropriate, using gentle heat to warm the tissues
before the work. The goal of each session is to specifically
address your needs for that given day.
During prenatal massage, I use the Body Cushions system, which
allows you to lay comfortably and safely on your belly,
even during late pregnancy.
I wish you glowing, happy health and look forward to building a relationship with you!
